Pre-Trial Issues in a Criminal Case (In-Person Program)

This evening program for Superior Court judges will cover the following subjects:

• Discovery – Rules 14 and 17
• Motions to Dismiss – McCarthy and O’Dell Motions
• Motions to Withdraw and Motions for New Counsel

These topics come up on a daily basis in all criminal sessions. Judges McCarthy and Doolin will discuss, among other things, the differences between Rules 14 and 17, the ins and outs of Motions to Dismiss and how to properly handle a defendant seeking to discharge his 4th attorney on the day of trial.
