Judicial Synergy

This full-day program will bring together trial and appellate judges to discuss a wide variety of topics of mutual interest. The day will be informal, but purposeful. In both an open general forum and smaller breakout sessions, judges will have an opportunity to address common problems and concerns in a roundtable format. By focusing on the contrasting, yet complementary, “Yin and Yang” that exists between appellate courts and trial courts, this program will create an opportunity to learn from one another and to share concrete, practical information about what matters most to judges, while enhancing the spirit of collegiality among all those whom strive to deliver justice.

There will be extensive participation by the justices of the Supreme Judicial Court and the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
