ESI (electronically stored information) and e-discovery are associated with almost all civil cases filed in the Superior Court. Understanding the science and law relating to ESI and e-discovery is critical to any civil litigator’s practice. Superior Court Judge Mark Mason will moderate a panel discussion with Superior Court Judge Maynard Kirpalani, Attorney Shannon Capone Kirk, Attorney Andrew Levchuk, Jessica Block and Arpit Bothra.

The panel will discuss Massachusetts state law procedural and ethical requirements regarding e-discovery in civil cases, including motion and trial practices. Our expert panelists will focus on a forensic understanding of ESI in a context which relates to your daily practice. The program will offer a review of the sources and formats of ESI, as well as issues associated with the retention and production of ESI. This program is a must in understanding the complex and fast-changing world of ESI and e-discovery.
