Anatomy of a Wrongful Conviction (Zoom Program)

This evening program for Massachusetts judges will explore common factors that lead to Wrongful Convictions. Our panel of experts will share information on why some are convicted of crimes they did not commit and how wrongful convictions may be prevented in the criminal justice system.

Attendees will learn best practices for judges addressing post-conviction or post-adjudication motions in cases in which an adult or juvenile is alleged to have been unjustly convicted. This program will present a unique opportunity for judges to hear how to improve accuracy in all criminal cases.
