This evening program for Massachusetts judges on select evidentiary topics coincides with the release of the 2015 official print edition of the Massachusetts Guide to Evidence, updated and expanded by the Supreme Judicial Court Advisory Committee on Massachusetts Evidence Law.
Taught by members of the Executive Committee on Massachusetts Evidence Law, the agenda will include a series of brief presentations on the newest updates, including:
- “Restyling” of the Guide
- Commonwealth v. Crayton
- Eyewitness Identification
- Admissibility of Police Reports
- Opening Statements and Closing Arguments
- Restitution
- Evidentiary Issues in Care and Protection Cases
Judges are encouraged to bring their copy of the 2015 Guide to the program.
