2014 Guide: New Features and Continuing Challenges

This evening program for Massachusetts judges on current evidentiary topics will coincide with the release of the 2014 official print edition of the Massachusetts Guide to Evidence, written by the Supreme Judicial Court Advisory Committee on Massachusetts Evidence Law.

Taught by members of the Executive Committee, this program will cover:

• New Updates to the Guide, including Stipulations and Motions in Limine
• Exceptions to Hearsay, including State of Mind
• Lay Witness Opinion and Testimony on the Ultimate Issue (Commonwealth v. Canty)
• Consciousness of Guilt

Program participants will receive a complimentary copy of the 2014 edition of the Massachusetts Guide to Evidence at the program.
