FJI Convenes Full-Day Program on Handling Firearms Cases

On December 17, the Flaschner Judicial Institute presented its largest educational program for Massachusetts judges of the Fall 2025 academic semester, “Handling Firearms Cases from the Bench.” Designed for both new and experienced jurists, the full-day program addressed critical legal and procedural issues unique to firearms cases. The agenda took a deep dive into key subject areas and offered practical insights to enhance clarity, fairness, and legal precision in adjudicating weapons-related offenses.

Chaired by Boston Municipal Court Judges David J. Breen and Samir Zaganjori, the program was attended by approximately 100 judges from four Trial Court departments.
